Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)

It’s no secret that companies face a number of challenges in the world today. One in particular, and that often gets overlooked, is “keeping track of your stuff”.

Inventory management, when done well, can keep your business running smoothly and save you on multiple fronts. But when your storeroom is unorganized and unaccounted for, you lose for many reasons: downtime in production, lost inventory, potential sourcing problems, and accountability issues.

One of the ways to combat this is putting in a VMI or “Vendor Managed Inventory” program, which we offer here at Nationwide Industrial Supply. Our salespeople will stop as frequently as you request, and service more than 50 local companies in a variety of industries. We offer large bins for items like fasteners, pipe fittings, and brass fittings, and carry smaller drawers for electrical fittings, drill bits, etc.

If you notice an item running low on your shelf or in your bins, we can get you a replacement quickly. We also don’t have quotas to meet like many of our competitors, so overloading you on inventory is out of the question.
